Britdisc,
OK this is a quick one, did anyone else have a problem with the amount
of pitch time at Nationals. Now 24 teams at nationals is fine at a venue
like Cheltenham which has more halls, but for a two hall tournament
isn't 16 teams the max that you can accommodate especially for the
premier event of the Indoor calendar? Personally I don't think 14 minute
Quarter finals are long enough (and SNOAP might agree on that one ;-) ),
it would have been nice to play at least the semis on the big pitch and
the four hour layoff between the semis and the final seemed like an
eternity. Perhaps we should consider restricting Nationals to 16 unless
we can find bigger venues. (but how would we allocate the 16 slots ?!?)
