Women's Nationals 2002 kicked off, Friday nite with a salubrious 2 for 1 drinks offer at the Waterfront watering hole, in Nottingham’s south central. Beneath the HUGE sign indicating a now defunct British Waterways building, the Bears drank until they were sure there was no beer left in the place (they wish) and the Divas were just arriving as the clock whizzed past midnight. By around 1.30, they were all accommodated and asleep.

The party Saturday night was a kick-ass affair inside the building with eh huge British Waterways' defunct sign. But still we ran the Mezzanine and the drinking games were impressive and at times scary and made a boys event look lightweight… Again the two for one offers brought full effect to the dancing, which the DJ had no idea how to deal with… 100+ fine looking ladies doing Jigs to what they liked.

Winners of the party were the alcoholics and Mavis… easy Tiger.

Anyway, they played a few games too… and there was more than one upset to the tourney with Princess Layout startling some of the birds and the Bears & Janet not coping with the last night’s liquor… After a stunning final that for a while could have gone either way, can we congratulate everyone with this listing…?

1. FIERCE – Winners of Women’s Nationals 2002

2. PRINCESS LAYOUT – Debut Appearance

3. BLUE ARSED FLIES

4. RED

5. MAVIS – Party Winners by default

6. SKUNKS – Did they make it to the party?

7. BAPS

8. BIRDS IN FLYGHT – Debut in the Top 8 (Respect)

9. BEARS – Winners of the Plate

10. PHAT CHICKS – not one among them!

11. DIVALUTION – Drinkin’ Girls

12. JANET HAWES

13. DURR’M GIRLZ – Drinkin’ Girls

14. SLIP DISC

15. MWNCI WENCH

16. FLAMING MONKEYS & FRIENDS – Winners of The Spirit (Respect)

Moments not caught on Film…

(unnamed) team lost on Forest Road (famous for its ladies)

The signing of the penis (fame & fortune prevails)

3 Months gone and playing on!

A dancer did stand on a table…

Distinct lack of a stripper… (Where is Sammy?)

Still lost…

1 Blue Purse

1 Black Jacket

1 Bears Hoodie

1’s Sanity

Found...

Old Disc

Blue Fleece

Inhaler

Beads (green string)

Thanks everyone, hopefully we can do it again next year… see you at the Flying Femme Fest, if not before.
