Just a quick question, perhaps a bit off the subject but thought this would be a
good time to ask .....

Instead of having a mailing list as Britdisc is at the moment changing over to a
newsgroup instead along the same lines of rec.sport.disc. I don't know if there
is a UK equivalent at the moment, I've got no idea how you would set one up.

One advantage of a newsgroup is that messages can be "threaded" according to
their subject i.e. all emails regarding a forthcoming tournament will be grouped
together in order of when messages were received. At the same time another
thread may concern a debate about rostering or Tour dates for example.

Newsgroup readers come free with Netscape and Explorer browsers, members can
pick and choose which subject or "thread" they wish to read or add to.
