LONDON ULTIMATE SESSION - CLAPHAM COMMON
========================================

Result of League Series I, game 2, Tuesday May 6th

C beat A, 14-13

Luckily for us, the Met Office managed to get their weather predictions
slightly wrong. Although it was a bit chilly for this time of year, the
predicted snow, rain and driving winds failed to materialise and round
two of LUS League series I was played under clear blue skies. We didn't
manage to start any earlier than the previous week, but with the summer
evenings lengthening, Dave Travell's Team C had time to establish a slim
12-10 lead by ten-past-eight. The game was capped to 14. Team A staged
yet another last-minute comeback, with the scoring going something like
13-10, 13-11, 13-12, 13-13, leaving us with a sudden-death decider -
again! Alex Bowers (Mohawks/UTI) found Yusi Wang (Mohawks) free in the
zone for Team C, to finish it 14-13.

Next week, B and C meet in a decider to determine who will take the lead
at the half-way mark. Meanwhile, Roger Thompson's Team A have to win both
their rematches to remain in contention. Stay tuned.

Thanks again everyone for another cracking turnout. Have fun in Rotterdam
and hope to see you next week.

Paul
