<DIV></DIV>>Hi, Christian!
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>How was Paganello...where did you finish (and did you compete as "Catch")?
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Here's an early announcement of Asia's premier annual tournament (in
<DIV></DIV>>Singapore). Is there any chance that Catch or the British Ultimate
<DIV></DIV>>Association could assemble enough players to send a team? Les Invalides
<DIV></DIV>>made history by being the first European team to compete in an Asian
<DIV></DIV>>tournament (outside of Worlds) at Bali over Easter. We were
<DIV></DIV>>well-received, finished third behind two regional powerhouses headed to
<DIV></DIV>>Hawaii (Singapore and Taiwan), and were awarded with Spirit. If you really
<DIV></DIV>>want an Ultimate change of experience, come to Asia!
<DIV></DIV>>

<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>y 'all,
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>We have a tentative reservation for the fields for September 14-15 this
<DIV></DIV>>year. However, we have a slight problem-they installed a horse corral on the third field
<DIV></DIV>>farthest from the hotel, reducing us to two grass fields.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>We are looking at a couple of different possibilities: An 8-10 team
<DIV></DIV>>tournament on the grass and a separate beach division, or a beach hat, or
<DIV></DIV>>12 teams in small pools. If we have 12 teams again you will only play 2
<DIV></DIV>>or 3 games on Saturday. We are also investigating fields in town. I know
<DIV></DIV>>you all love the all-in-one set up on Sentosa, but with four fields we
<DIV></DIV>>could have a monster tournament. And we could show you more of
<DIV></DIV>>Singapore's nightlife.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>I'll keep you posted, but for now, we are assuming those dates. 14-15
<DIV></DIV>>September.
