  All,

Some useful stuff. Please note that all teams should attend the =
Captains meeting
and these start times may be subject to change. So play it safe and be =
there
  early!

Start times: (These are NOT guarranteed!)

The following teams play at 9.15am.

Mavis Princess Layout Janet Hawes Jane Doe

All other teams are playing at 10.05

  2002 Tour 1 - Bristol

  Tournament Organisation

  Saturday
=B7 8 pools of 5 or 6; Games to 40 mins (NO CAP) or maximum of =
13 points. If
disc is in air then the pass counts (including point if scored). Half =
time at 7
points - 2 minute TO at half.

=B7 In the event of a tied pool, the pool is determined using =
Tour (and
WFDF) rules; 1) Points difference between tied teams; 2) Points scored =
by tied
teams; 3) Points difference throughout whole pool 4) Points scored =
throughout
whole pool; 5) as per remaining WFDF rules.

=B7 Teams then play one knockout game within the following =
groups; 1 - 8; 9
  - 16; 17 - 24; 25 - 32; 33 - 40; 41 - 44. Games to 1 hour 15 mins plus =
a TWO
point cap or maximum of 15 points. If disc is in play, when the hooter =
sounds
teams check the disc, finish the point, and then cap. If teams are =
between
  points then just cap.

  Sunday
  =B7 Teams enter a full knockout in the following groups; 1 - 4; =
5 - 12; 13 -
  20; 21 - 28; 29 - 36; 37 - 44.

=B7 Games to 1 hour 15 mins plus a TWO point cap or maximum of =
15 points. If
disc is in play, when the hooter sounds teams check the disc, finish =
the point,
and then cap. If teams are between points then just cap. (1 - 4 teams =
play 1
hour 45 mins + TWO point cap, or 17 points)

=B7 2 time-outs per team, not to be taken in the cap. 2 minute =
half time. (1
  - 4; 2 TO's per half per team, 10 min HT)

  Women's Event
=B7 This event is a double league with finals.

=B7 Games are the same length and format as relevant game slot =
for the
open event. One round is during the initial pools on Saturday, and the =
second
round is during the Saturday play-off games and Sunday games.

=B7 Do not alter seeding after the first round of games.

=B7 Please ensure that you report your results and fill in the =
results
sheets for the pool games and cross-overs provided.

=B7 Winning teams have to ensure that the water container for =
their pitch is
refilled, and that the cones and water containers are returned at the =
end of the
  last game.

=B7 Late Teams - If a team is late to the start of a game then =
they are
given five minutes grace, before losing a point at the end of every =
minute after
they are late. During those five minutes it is your responsibility to =
find your
opposition; they may still be playing a previous game; they may be =
involved in
the calculation of a tied pool, and do not know who they play next =
(speak to
them, let them know you are waiting). In these situations a game =
starts as soon
as it is reasonable, but MUST finish on time, do not extend your game.

=B7 You may, but do not have to, play a team that cannot field =
seven
players. You can start taking points.

=B7 WFDF Rules - The official WFDF rules have not changed since =
last year
(Other than dimensions of the pitches), so we will continue to play to =
last
  years WFDF rules.

  Other Useful Points

  Please use rubbish bins provided.
  tidy up after yourselves
Dont forget the late bar ;-)
