Hi Simon,

I can't get anything through to Britdisc, so can you forward this for me please.

----
Hi Everyone,

Just thought it may be interesting to post a list of entrants, and probable seedings. If you think a team is seeded wrongly, then please let me know. Not promising I'll change anything though. We had 17 teams enter, but only space for 16, so many thanks to Picnic for pulling their third team out, to let Sharks enter their second team. I think they can count on at least two spirit votes for that.

Teams.

Druids
Funky Monks
Headrush
Sharks I
Distant Cuisons
Tribal Desire
Mythago I
Skunks I
Uriel I
Picnic I
Mythago II
Skunks II
Sharks II
Picnic II
Uriel II
Funky Nuns

Opening pools will be pretty standard A)1,7,9,15 B)2,8,10,16 C)3,5,11,13 D)4,6,12,14 Probably make a small change so that Uriel I and Uriel II are not in the same opening pool, and same for Nuns and Monks. Top 10 seedings are based on the results from last year's regional outdoors. Only change is that Tribal Desire (Ex-Uriel) take the place of Uriel, and Uriel I slot in as 9th seeds.

Games begin on the Saturday at 10:00 sharp. You have been warned. Schedule, with 4 pitches, should be something like:
10:00 Pool A and B matches. 1v3 2v4
10:55 Pool C and D matches 1v3 2v4
11:50 Pool A and B matches. 1v2 3v4
12:45 Pool C and D matches 1v2 3v4
13:40 Pool A and B matches. 1v4 2v3
14:35 Pool C and D matches 1v4 2v3
15:30 Knockout stage. 5v12, 6v11, 7v10, 8v9 (I.e. Team finishing second in pool play third placed team in other pool that played at the same time).

All matches are 50 minutes, with 5 minutes change-over. Knockout stage, match is an hour with a cap of 2 points above top score at time.

Sunday morning, you are going to hate this.
08:30 Lower 8 Quarter finals
09:15 Top 8 Quarter Finals
10:30 Lower 8 Semis
11:15 Top 8 Semis
12:30 Lower 8 final match.
13:20 Top 8 final match.
14:30 The final

As you can probably work out, all 'important' matches are an hour plus cap. Final match for top 6 teams only alters the playing order at the finals. It does not affect which opponents they will meet (Cheers Simon, great schedule). 'non-important' games are 45 minutes.

[pleasure - Si]

Just a quick request, like Simon did. If you have some cones, please bring them (Rob from Mythago, can you please bring your new ones). The groundsman is refusing to mark the pitches with painted lines, but he will put flags out. Having cones placed marking the sidelines would be a great help.

That's about it, see you all Saturday morning, bright and early, or Friday night at Double Locks if you're coming down early, and er... Good luck for the rest of the tournament.

Kevin.
