This is not a dig at St. Johns ambulance service, I've appreciated their
services in the past, but I personally don't think they provide much
reassurance at ultimate tourneys in the sense that everybody is capable of
applying a plaster, disinfectant or an ice pack and many of us have first
aid experience anyway. Apart from possible insurance purposes I don't
believe St. johns are necessary. Worse injuries will require an ambulance or
paramedic anyway. I believe we should look into other possibilities.
Are there any alternatives to St. Johns? How about putting the
responsibility on the individual team by making each team have at least 1 or
2 certified first aiders and first aid pack?

Right, I'm assuming the position for a public flogging!
