Fellow Ultimate Players,

As many of you will know, Sam Neilson is leaving the UK this week for
sunnier climes in New Zealand, a country with fresh air, flowing streams and
a male:female ratio of 1:1.03

He's done the math.

Sam started his frisbee career before anyone else reading this email was
born. He has a forensic memory for the early days of the sport, can clearly
recall playing before sidearms and stall-counts were invented, but has very
little idea what he was up to after 7.30pm at any domestic or international
tournament during the last 15 years.

For the last few years he's been plying his trade with Chevron and has
helped us to become the disgrace we so often are. For one brief, wonderful
period he was even a part of our coaching team where his major contributions
were: introducing a call which specifically meant "Sam's going to huck it!";
spending an entire afternoon in a park in Wolverhampton grading our throws
on a meticulously detailed sliding scale; and giving the most confusing
half-time talk we've ever witnessed involving some grass in a disc which,
apparently, the opposition wanted to take from us.

Sam's enthusiasm for and contribution to disc sports in this country has
been second to none. If we had an Ultimate Hall of Fame he would almost
certainly be the first player at the bar.

Chevron would just like to take the opportunity on behalf of the UK Ultimate
community he has so effectively terrorised for the last twenty years to say,
"Bon Voyage, Sam. Thanks for the memories."

See you in Hawaii mate.

Rob
