The bid was submitted to the BUF on the basis that we(Layout Dreams)'d keep 
costs as low as possible, and look at providing refunds to teams (if 
appropriate) after the tournament. It's a hell of a lot easier to give money 
back to teams than go around and ask them for more.

If this wasn't the Nationals, we'd probably not be looking at giving refunds 
('cos we're profiteering bastards :) )

actually (read the letter from Gavin Bates, BUF Treasurer) GBP 12.00 for Tax

Anyway. We'll be publishing a financial report for the Nationals as soon as 
we've worked out what we spent and collected. We're awaiting a couple of 
invoices to pay and we've got to work out phonebills.

Hopefully it will all go towards making future tournaments easier to run.
