Scott and BD'ers,
I am feeling rather misrepresented and falsely accused by my regional
buddy Scott who has accused me and Sam of being ...
> unfair on their view of the geo-team set-up.
Please explain how, we both said we supported the concept?
and then ...

I have never argued against mergers per se, I merely made an
observation that the Shotgun merger made for less interesting finals.

Now I agree 100% with this, so please don't see me as being in any
way anti-geo team. However if you want to call me a hypocrite then
here is your opportunity - I am hoping to play in a STAN based
Masters team at the next World Clubs. I hold my hands up and admit
this is selfish and may lead to the odd bit of poaching.

I ask the Britdisc Jury to consider whether the BUF should seek
to institute any rules which would prohibit or restrict the formation
of such a team.
YES or NO? Send your votes to me.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
NB Please vote on the DESIRABLILITY of instituting restrictions. A
separate issue is the practicality and enforcability which would I
think be horrendous and drag the BUF into a damaging role as arbiter
on contentious rules.
So as not to get wrongly flamed this is a bit of fun but with an
important question at heart. The desirability of geo teams is agreed
by many if not most but do the wired and wonderful people on
britdisc think there is a collective good which warrants some loss of
individual freedom.
