Dear Wayne and others,
While we're riding on this DG publicity tidal wave (er..
ripple)
First golf tournament of the year is this week-end at
Colchester University and there are about 14 tournaments
running up to November. Taking part is easy- just turn
up. Dates and contact details are on the britdisc diary,
BDGA newsletter (for which you have to be a member), and
BDGA webpage- or alternatively contact me. There are 2
main types of events- tour and non-tour. Non-tour
events are smaller, format is more flexible so tend to
be more beneficial for novices. Begineers are
welcomed and catered for at tour events too, only
difference is that there are a few contenders/pretenders
getting serious about it all.
You don't even need to turn up with golf discs, they can
usually be bought (or sometimes borrowed) at tournaments-
or alternatively play with your ultrastar.
