	right all, the news is now as follows:

	The 1997 National Indoor Finals are to be held in the Meadowbank 
Sports Centre, Edinburgh

	Yep, EDINBURGH.

	Now before ANYONE moans, when I asked for bids, the Sneeekys were 
the only ones to get back to me with a detailed venue/party/accommodation 
package.

	so if you think that you could find a venue for 24 teams with the 
prestige associated with meadowbank (in Scotland, admittedly) and arrange 
a party AND sort out somewhere to stay, then you have until monday to let 
me know.

	otherwise - YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT BACK TO ME WHEN I ARSKED !!!!!.

	Also, considering that the Sneeekys have been making journeys of 
this size as a matter of course since 1987 (and doing pretty decently at 
it to), it ain't unreasonable to request a trip Up North - just for once!!!
	
	Any complaints or bitching - 

	tough!

(oh, and by the way - if you book a minibus now and fail to qualify, you 
don;t lose anything by cancelling it. That's from bitter experience, so 
there's no reason for ANYONE to say that "we couldn;t organise transport 
in time!!. DO IT NOW !!!! YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS !!!!!)
