Event: Student Indoor Midland Qualifiers
Venue: Concord Sports Centre, Sheffield
Dates: 27th/28th November 1999
Dear Teams,
It's that time again when I ask you to look ahead and decide how
many teams
you will be bringing to the Student Indoor Midland Qualifiers.
Hopefully
you'll all be able to bring your first teams along to compete for the
four
places at Student Indoor Finals. However, it would be great if you
could
also bring along some less experienced teams and even some
beginners teams
to get them hooked on the ways of Ultimate. This year as last both
Bears and
Phat 'Eds have confirmed they will be entering five teams, including
three
beginners teams each, so whatever the standard of the team that
you bring
there will always be something to play for.
As last year the tournament is at Concord Sports Centre, Sheffield.
It is a
great venue with two good size pitches and cheap food and beer
available all
day long. In the evening there will be a party at Sorby Hall with a
disco.
There will also be a late license on the bar, so that partying can
continue
well into the night. The Sheffield players will provide floor space for
all
teams competing, so there will be no additional accommodation
costs.
To enter the tournament please send cheques made payable to
'More Than Just
A Tournament' for the sum of eighty pounds per team and send it
to the
address at the end of this email. Teams will be entered on a first
come,
first served basis. The closing date for entries is the 12th of
November
1999.
