Find your way onto the M27, if you are comming down on the
M3, go onto M27 Eastbound, NOT the Docks.
Take JUNCTION 5 of the M27
At the roundabout look for the sign that says 'sports
ground'. If you are comming from the West (from the M3)
this will be the FIRST LEFT turn. If you are comming from
the East, this will be the 3rd exit.
Here's the annoying bit: go along the road for 2-300m and
you will see a turning on your left (STONEHAM LANE).
This turning does not allow you to turn into it if you are
travelling in this direction! Solution: either turn into
the 'Concorde Club' just past the turning, turn round, head
back in the opposite direction and turn right into
'Stoneham Lane'. Or, continue along the road and you will
come to a roundabout, go all the way round, head back in
the opposite direction and again, take the right turn.
Go along Stoneham Lane for a few hundred metres and you
will come across 'Wellington Sports Grounds' (Opposite
Eastleigh football club). If their is nowhere left to
park, go along the road a bit further and use the 'Trojans'
rugby club parking.
If you are travelling by train, get off at 'Southampton
Airport Parkway' station. This station is a stones throw
from some of the pitches. Taxis will NOT cost alot to get
to the main grounds. Though if you feel like walking, take
a right outside the station (Not the airport side), walk
along for a 100m or so, turn left into the sports fields,
walk across fields towards the gap opposite, go through the
gap, over the brook and you will end out next to the
'Concorde Club', go down Stoneham lane to Wellington Sports
grounds.
