Hello everyone,
This is a note to confirm that Co-ed Nationals will be taking place as
planned on the weekend of the 1st/2nd of September. The venue will be West
Hill Park School, Titchfield, which is midway between Portsmouth and
Southampton just off the M27 motorway.
There are four playing fields at the venue and the tournament will be
attended by a maximum of sixteen teams. As this is Nationals with the top
teams qualifying for World Clubs next summer, the tournament will initially
be by invitation only to the top sixteen places in the co-ed tour. Nancy
published the rankings after the Leeds Co-ed Tour (see forwarded message at
the bottom of the email) and the top twelve teams have a guarenteed slot. In
order to confirm their attendance I would ask these teams to send a cheque
for the sum of £100. This should be made payable to ‘More Than Just A
Tournament’ and sent to myself at the address below.
The remaining four slots will be allocated after the Nottingam Co-ed Tour.
If after this allocation there are any additional slots available for Co-ed
Nationals these will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that I am not on Britdisc, so all relevant emails should be
copied to this address. My internet access is also extremely limited, so a
better method of contacting me will be by phone or SMS. My mobile number is
07815 126 573.
See you all in Titchfield,

All teams ranked 12 and above have already qualified for Mixed Nationals.
Teams 13-16 can qualify by simply turning up for Event 3 at Nottingham on
August Bank Holiday weekend. Sam put on a great tourny last year- this one
looks to be even better.
Any other teams can still qualify at Nottingham by placing 7th or higher at
Nottingham. It's not too late!!!!!!
Any question, get back to me....
